I just got back from my BFF since 6th grade’s wedding in Albuquerque and I’m totally inspired for some new colorways. Here’s a sampling of pictures.

In case you can’t tell, my favorite thing to knit is socks. I was pointed out to me that these were on my feet. Definately not shenanigans.

Kimberly was digging through Sip & Knit and found a forgotten sock club batch of Fresh From the Cauldron in a yummy color which will remain anonymous here. But she wanted it so badly, that she made a sock pattern to get the club moving again. I got to test it on my own yarn of course. It still needs to be washed and blocked (and knitted a couple more inches) but i think its a beautiful lace stitch.

I’m so excited because I found this silly website that makes mosaics for me. So here are this weeks new colors!
We also opened an etsy site for those of you who like to make wish lists.

I have to make a special thanks to Kimberly for my new favorite sweater. She picked up some maaaalibrigo lace from Stitches South and made the bestest sweater for me!

it’s definitely going on my trip to Albuquerque

We had a great time today. Sip & Knit hosted a retreat at Highland Manor We all gorged ourselves on delicious food and then some knitted while Kimberly and I hosted a class on drop spindles.

We also had a beautiful spread of new colors that just barely dried in time.
